Dog Friendly

We love dogs and want to provide you with a truly dog friendly, hassle free experience.

Well behaved dogs are very welcome at the cottage. We have provided 4 bowl dog feeding station, food scoops, brush, doggie first aid stuff, dog towel, poo bags and treats. We have installed a deer fence  around the substantial garden to keep your dogs safe and secure as the sheep are free-roaming around the cottage. If you are walking your dog around The Braes it is very important to keep them on the lead. The scenery is really beautiful. We just ask that you clean up after your pets and put poo bags in the Grey Bin at the cottage.

Dogs are allowed in all areas of the cottage but we would ask that throws are used on the furniture.  Your dog should NOT be allowed on the furniture if they are wet or muddy. The floors downstairs are non- slip tiles, stairs are carpetted and upstairs is hardwood flooring, 

Please do not move the feeding station from the tiled ground floor, dog bowls can be washed in the downstairs utility room.
